About Haines Boatyard

Haines Boatyard is a working boatyard at the top of the public jetty in Itchenor, on the south side of Chichester Harbour. It was bought in 1983 by members of Itchenor Sailing Club and is run on a not-for-profit basis, with most shareholders being local sailors. The yard looks after the racing keelboat fleets based at Itchenor, handling routine maintenance, servicing and accident repairs, and it manages many of the club's keelboat moorings. Its shipwrights restore and maintain classic keelboats, cruising yachts, motor boats and dinghies, and the yard also offers painting and antifouling, engine servicing, scrubbing and winter storage. Boat owners should contact the yard directly to discuss jobs and space.
