Family-run independent bookshop on Steyning High Street since 1984
The Steyning Bookshop is a family-run independent bookshop on Steyning High Street, founded in 1984 and housed in an 18th-century building. It stocks new books with particular strengths in fiction, nature writing, local interest titles and children's books, alongside cards, stationery and gifts. The children's area is built around a red wooden book train. The shop runs author talks and signings, author suppers with a local cafe, and regular book clubs. National Book Tokens are accepted. It makes a good stop when exploring the market town and the nearby South Downs.
