Webbe's Rock-a-Nore

Webbe's Rock-a-Nore is a seafood restaurant at the eastern end of Hastings Old Town, looking out over the net huts and fishing boats of The Stade. The menu centres on fish and shellfish from the local fleet, with small sharing plates and larger main dishes, and there is a separate children's menu. The restaurant also runs a fish cookery morning, where guests visit the beach fish market opposite with a chef, choose from the day's catch, then cook and eat it. Tables for up to six can be booked online, larger groups should phone, and outdoor tables are first come, first served. Takeaway is available from the door when the restaurant is not too busy.
