About this event

Petworth Festival's 2026 literary programme runs from 23 October to 7 November, so its final events fall in the first week of November. This year's festival is linked to the National Year of Reading. The line-up includes novelists Sebastian Faulks, Lynda La Plante, Victoria Hislop and John Boyne, alongside Prue Leith and Michael Gove, though some of these talks will already have taken place. A newer LitFestPlus strand adds wider sessions, including one on creative writing and AI. Events are ticketed separately and times vary, so check the festival's website for what remains and how to book.
