About Cowdray House

Cowdray House is the main house on the Cowdray Estate, set in parkland just outside Midhurst within the South Downs National Park. It is available for exclusive-use weddings, private celebrations and corporate events. Several rooms, including Buck Hall, the wood-panelled Dining Room and the Summer Pavilion, are licensed for civil ceremonies, and the house can seat up to 150 guests for dinner. Overnight accommodation in the house can form part of a booking. The estate also runs a separate walled garden venue, and the Cowdray ruins and polo grounds lie close by. Pricing is quoted as venue hire rather than packages, and enquiries are handled by the estate's events team by phone or through the website.
