About Brighton Toy and Model Museum

Tucked into Victorian arches beneath the forecourt of Brighton station, the Brighton Toy and Model Museum has been open since 1991. Its collection runs to more than 10,000 toys and models, with model railways at its heart, including a large 1930s gauge 0 layout and smaller 00-gauge layouts. Cabinets cover everything from Hornby trains to Dinky military vehicles, and temporary displays are added through the year. The museum is a registered charity. Under-fives go free with an adult, family tickets are offered, and group or school visits can be arranged in advance, making it an easy rainy-day outing for all ages.
